My experience with using Twitter in this class so far has been good. From my personal experiences using Twitter, I have been used to it for a long time now. I have learned that I can use it to connect with others within the education field which can be beneficial to me. I have learned how to interact with others and get my thoughts across. Also, I have learned how to use the different features such as mentioning others, replying to comments, retweeting, etc. One of the main benefits of the app is to connect and network with others. Because I have prior experience using Twitter and I know how to do a lot of different things on it, I have not been experiencing any issues using it for the class.
From working on the Web Design project I have learned how to create and input an interactive calendar using embedded codes. Also, I learned that you can display a Creative Commons license using the same technique. This project allowed me to creatively display some of the same things that I would in the future as an educator to communicate with the parents and allow them to have an insight of what is taking place in my classroom. That is what I liked most about this project. There was not anything I could think of that I did not like about this assignment because it allowed me to showcase some sense of creativity and basically display what my brain thinks on a website. Next time, I can improve this assignment by either using a different theme or showcase different ideas such as events in the class. What I learned from this assignment can help me to creatively interact with the parents in the future. Also, because I used Weebly for this web design, I would remember this platform in the future to use for my teacher website in the future. Assistive and adaptive technologies are accommodations for those individuals with disabilities to make it easier for them to perform tasks. Some provide assistance to help them perform the tasks, and some adapt the task to make it easier for those individuals. These help for those student's to not be alienated in the classroom on a technological aspect, for it is designed just for them in a way that they can perform the same tasks. Examples include voice recognition softwares to type, software that reads text to them, spelling check, etc. I have seen people use the voice recognition and text-to-speech softwares before. Also, from my old job working with children with autism, I had a few students who used the Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) device. It is always nice to see students using this because it is allowing them to communicate with others, express themselves and have their own "voice". I have also personally used the voice recognition feature when texting. A challenge that I may face using adaptive technologies in my classroom is that there may not be a technology designed to accommodate all of my students. Another may be if my student cannot figure out how to use the assistive or adaptive technology available to them. Also, even though it is law to provide accommodations for students with disabilities, we may be unable to provide them with the specific technologies that they may need. If these problems are to arise, I may have to take into consideration of not using technology in my classroom or finding other ways to incorporate it into my class. Although, this may be a disadvantage to my students in comparison to other children their age because they are nto getting the same experiences with technology.

Your website is really great! I love the resources you included specifically Brain Pop. That was one of my favorite websites to go to in elementary school. The videos are engaging and interesting to watch. The website is organized very well and everything matches the theme. It was super easy to navigate and interact with. If there is any critique it would be that the website domain itself feels outdated (which is out of your control). Great Job!
